Keen on Piercing offers delivery within New Zealand. New Zealand Residential postal address will be charged a flat fee of $10.00 including GST, Rural Delivery will incur an additional fee of $2.00 Including GST
All Packages are tracked and Insured, so if for any reason you don’t receive your package, let us know and we will send a replacement ASAP.
When you purchase an item from Keen on Piercing your card will be billed within 2 working days. The name on your transaction will appear as ‘Jewelry Importers LTD’. If you think you have been billed incorrectly, please contact us via the contact us page, include your name and invoice number to speed up the process and we will look from our end and remedy the error if required.
While we endeavor to fulfil all orders, please be aware that delivery is based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Our target delivery is 3 to 5 business days, however delivery time can vary depending on your location and your local courier or postal service. We will notify you if we are unable to fulfil your order.
Our method of delivery for New Zealand customers is a tracked package via NZ Couriers. For International customers we will send via Courier Post.
Please note, we can not deliver via courier to a PO box, so please find an alternative address for delivery. If you request your item be left at your property without a signature being obtained you are doing so at your own risk.
We retain a copy of the tracking number barcode. If your goods do not arrive within 5 days please contact us and we will track the parcel to confirm its whereabouts.
Any item(s) purchased come with a 14 day, no questions asked right of return. If you have received your order and for whatever reason are not happy, send it back in the original unopened heat sealed package. You can return it for a size exchange, store credit or refund to your credit card/ bank account.
Please note that any return shipping costs and subsequent damage will be your responsibility. Item(s) must arrive back to us within 14 days of purchase.
All item(s) must be in its original unopened heat sealed bag- so before you break the heat seal, please check that the style/size is what you expected. Once the heat seal is broken we can no longer accept the item back for a return or exchange.

What is the appropriate age to get my child’s ears pierced?
It is more common for girls to get their ears pierced when they are young, and boys when they are slightly older. It can be an event that many parents look forward to, however age is no restriction at Keen on Piercing.
When choosing earrings, what metal is best?
You or your child may gravitate towards sparklier earrings, but when you first get your ears pierced it is recommended that you get Surgical Grade Steel or Titanium earrings and posts. Why? Because this metal doesn’t contain any nickel or alloys that may cause an allergic reaction. Allergies to nickel and cobalt are very common, so it is advised that you avoid earrings that contain these metals.
Other than Surgical Grade Steel or Titanium, other safe options include 14Kt gold. It is important that you ask what the earrings are made of before causing unnecessary possible comfort to your child whilst wearing them.
