The “Jestrum” piercing is very similar to the vertical labret piercing but done on the opposite lip. It is placed in the philtrum (dent) of the upper lip, directly under the nose and it goes straight down and comes out in the centre of the top lip. With this type of piercing, you will be able to see both balls. We pierce this with a banana bar. Healing for a Jestrum piercing is 1½ to 4 months.
