Collection: Surface Piercing

The ‘Surface’ Piercing is basically, any piercing that enters and exits the skin on the same surface e.g.; like an eyebrow piercing. The surface piercing is slightly longer than a normal piercing and we will often pierce the skin with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene). This is a flexible synthetic material which can be cut to any desired length. It can be sterilized up to 260 degrees and does not cause allergic reactions. The surface piercing goes under the skin rather than through it. You could pierce your Nape (back of neck), your collar bones or something as crazy as your forearm or thigh. Healing time varies with surface piercings, this depends on where your piercing is and how long it is. Once your piercing has healed you can trim up the PTFE and change balls to suit your mood.
