Hinged rings are available in a range of sizes and styles and the easiest style of ring to fit into your piercing. 

Different gauges (this refers to the thickness of the ring) are available to suit different piercings. The higher the number, the thinner the jewellery:

20g hinged rings are typically worn in nostril piercings, or some ear piercings (once healed) to give a more subtle, dainty look.

16g hinged rings are suitable for most ear, septum, and lip piercings.

14g hinged rings are suitable for nipple and navel (belly button piercings).
