The ‘Dolphin Bites’ piercing are two piercings centered on the lower lip, These are two lip piercings that are placed at the center of the lower lip or just below the lip. There are some variations on height and a choice of having it pierced with a labret bar or a B.C.R (ball closure ring). Initially there is larger jewelry inserted to allow for swelling. The larger jewelry can be downsized after a minimum of 2 weeks. Healing for the Dolphin bite piercings takes anywhere from 1½ to 4 months.
