Vertical Lip Piercing

The ‘Vertical Lip’ piercing is a piercing where the lower ball would be in the same place where a normal labret piercing would be, which is just below the lip. The difference is that instead of passing through to the inside of the mouth, it goes straight up and comes out the centre at the top of the lower lip. With this type of piercing, you will be able to see both balls. We pierce this with a banana bar. Healing for a Vertical Labret is 1½ to 4 months.
